Hi! I'm Jason
I'm a Music Producer, Audio Engineer, Techy and overall Sonic Scientist.
I grew up in a very musical family that formed me into the person I am today. I knew at an early age that I was blessed with a good set of ears. I recorded my first band at the age of 16. After high school, I decided to attend Full Sail University where I obtained an Associates degree in Audio Engineering. After graduation from Full Sail, I located myself to the great music city of Memphis, Tennessee where I still live today.
Here's a few thing about me.
I started out my career at Kiva Recording Studios where I immediately was thrown into a session with this guy named Isaac Hayes (Shaft fame). It was an interesting session to say the least. (Ask me about it sometime!) From there, I started working as an engineer for a famous Producer Jim Gaines (Steve Miller Band, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Huey Lewis and the News). Jim really took me under his wing and became a mentor to me. Jim eventually recommended the biggest studio in town to hire me. That studio is Ardent Studios. https://www.ardentstudios.com/
This was a dream job for me! So many hit records had been made there. While working at Ardent, I was honored to have worked with another mentor of mine, Producer/Engineer, John Hampton (Gin Blossoms, Allman Brothers). John invested much time and skill into me during my tenure at Ardent.
I was able to work along side other amazing producers and engineers during my 17 years at Ardent. My time there will always hold a special place in my heart.
